Lucia Constanza Coffre Labbe

 

Born in Chile in 1980. Between 1998-1999 she studied Fine Arts at the university of Concepción. In 1999 she went to Santiago to finish her studies “Bachelor in Fine Arts“ at the Catholic University of Chile in 2005. She continued at this very university to graduate as a “Teacher in Art“ and “Education for Secondary School“ with degree in “Bachelor in Education“ in 2006.

 

In the same year she left Chile and traveled to Barcelona, Spain to successfully complete a “Master in Art Therapy“ (Psychodynamic intervention with psychoanalytic approach) between 2006 and 2009 in the Metáfora school at the University of Barcelona. She then remained in Barcelona and worked as a teacher, artist and art therapist in Spanish, English and Catalan until 2012.

At the end of 2012 she changed her residence to Cologne, Germany where she lives currently. Between 2012 and 2017 she focused on intensive studies of the German language, eventually reaching level C2.2. In 2023 she started her studies in "Art Therapy Supervision" at ATE in Spain, which will be finished in 2025.

​

As an artist she worked in different techniques such as painting, etching, photography, drawing, water color and jewelry. Having lived in different countries and cities influenced her as an artist and person, bringing her closer to subjects like the human conscious and sub-conscious, nature and the language of its materials, objects and their conceptual and emotional meaning, just to name a few. That, without any doubt, is reflected can be seen in her work throughout the years. Her art can be found in private collections in different countries such as Chile, Spain, Germany, Sweden and the United States among others.
