My beginnings as a teacher go back to when I was 17 years old, leading art workshops in a very intuitive way. Later, when I studied Fine Arts and then Art Education in Fine Arts, I felt that I had acquired the theoretical and practical tools to be a “good teacher“. But while practising, I noticed that something else was missing and I decided to study Art Therapy. I felt the need to conceive the student as body and soul, meaning, that the child that was creating was not just thinking, but also feeling while it created. This is where I focussed my concern as an art teacher.

I try to not only teach techniques, but also live art through the emotions that every student or person who takes part in one of my classes or workshops is able to experience in the creative process. I firmly believe that education starts within the compromise of teaching and the enjoyment of the student to create. This way the learning happens in a very natural way.
